HARTFORD, CT- Everyday Democracy is excited to announce the addition of two new members to the Paul J. Aicher Foundation board.
Benya Kraus is a co-founder of Lead for America, an organization dedicated to creating community-centered public service programs across the United States. Ms. Kraus is the Executive Director of the Minnesota branch of the organization. She graduated from Tufts University.
Jamiel L. Alexander is the Senior Fellow for Aspen Institute’s Forum for Community Solutions. In this role he coordinates AFCS youth engagement strategy and provides technical assistance to the 24 communities within the Opportunity Youth Incentive Fund.
Both of these individuals have dedicated their lives to strengthening communities through grass-roots works. They will bring that same drive and commitment while helping to lead Everyday Democracy into the 2020’s.
Everyday Democracy is the primary project of The Paul J. Aicher Foundation, a nonprofit that is dedicated to helping communities work equitably and inclusively in order to build a strong democracy and improve the quality of life for everyone.
